YORK, PA-CBRE reports it has been named exclusive leasing agent for the newly named York Logistics Center here.

The property at 325 S. Salem Church Road, was acquired earlier this month by Endurance Real Estate Group, LLC of Bala Cvnwyd, PA, via a a joint venture with a commingled fund managed by American Realty Advisors. The property served as the Northeast distribution center for the seller, American Signature Furniture.

The CBRE team of Senior Vice President Joseph McDermott, First Vice President Vincent Ranalli and Vice President Jake Terkanian will represent the new property owner in marketing the property for lease.

In addition to its other distinctive Class A bulk warehouse/distribution facility attributes, including 54' x 43' column spacing, two 60' staging bays and a 375' truck court, the property features 268 trailer parking spaces and most notably a 40' clear height. The property is potentially expandable by up to 145,000 square feet.

The I-81/78 Corridor is highly sought after by users and clear height requirements are becoming more critical,” says CBRE's McDermott. “Pallet storage capacity can be 25%-33% greater in a 40' clear facility versus the market standard 30'-32' clear height, providing a major value proposition to prospective users of this facility, including e-commerce companies looking to incorporate complex material handling systems and mezzanine levels that require a higher cube.”
