CHICAGO—DTZ, a global property services firm headquartered in Chicago, has just promoted Martin Woodrow to head of global occupier services for the Americas region.
This group supports the company's long-range global strategy and delivers a full range of strategic and tactical real estate services to major corporate clients. It handles more than 1,800 transactions per year, totaling 150-million-square-feet. GOS Americas has over 16,500 people servicing the company's largest public and private occupiers.
Promoting Woodrow is just the latest move for a company that in the past few months has brought in a new group of top personnel. And earlier this month, GlobeSt.com reported that Adam Stanley had been brought in as the new chief information officer.
Woodrow will report to Steven Quick, chief executive of global occupier services based in Chicago.
“Martin is a long-time member of the DTZ team and brings a wealth of industry experience and organizational credibility into his new role,” says Quick.
Based in Denver, Woodrow formerly oversaw GOS America's transaction management and information management service lines, and coordinated best practices in account management. The former head of the central region and a 22-year veteran in the commercial real estate industry, Woodrow has been expanding his role over the past year, managing delivery of a broad scope of services to DTZ's key clients. He earned an MS degree in Construction Engineering and Architecture and a BS, in Architecture and Engineering, from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
