MIAMI—Related Group is putting the fate of its leasing efforts at 444 Brickell in Tere Blanca's hands. Related just named Blanca Commercial Real Estate as the exclusive leasing agent for the 200,379-square-foot office building in the heart of the city's Brickell Financial District.

Located along the Miami River, the 11-story office building offers fast access to Downtown Miami's Central Business District. The leasing assignment follows Related's acquisition of the building in late 2013.

“The office building at 444 Brickell offers companies a premium downtown Miami location at an affordable price point,” says Blanca. “This building bears a premier Brickell Avenue address and has many of the amenities that today's tenants are looking for—ample parking, renovated common areas, a terrific outdoor terrace overlooking the Miami River and Downtown Miami, and a high-end restaurant on site.”

Related is planning a phased re-development of the 3.9-acre site, which also includes the adjacent 77-99 Southeast 5th Street building measuring 101,902 square feet. The Blanca  team of Juan Ruiz, Andres del Corral, and Danet Linares will lead the leasing and marketing effort.

444 Brickell recently underwent a significant capital improvement program that included updates to the building's common areas, lobby, corridors, and restrooms. The building is perhaps best known as being the home of Miami's popular The Capital Grille restaurant. In terms of leases, Related offers flexibility, with terms ranging from one to seven years on renovated suites running from 500 to 10,000 square feet.
