CHARLOTTE—Multifamily developer Wood Partners, LLC has promoted Philip Vetter and Eric Fisher to vice president of construction.
Vetter will supervise construction operations and support development operations in Wood Partners' East Division, which includes the Carolinas, Virginia and Maryland. Fisher will fulfill the same role, but will oversee construction operations in the company's South Division, which includes Florida and Georgia. Both will be based in the company's Charlotte office.
"I am very excited that we have been able to promote Eric and Phil into these leadership roles,” says Tom Shoup, director of construction for Wood Partners' East and South divisions. “Both have been with Wood for some time, and being able to promote from within our ranks is particularly satisfying. This demonstrates our commitment to training and mentoring of our associates with the goal of increasing their levels of expertise just like these gentlemen have achieved."
Fisher, who is accredited with the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program, has successfully completed more than 4,400 units since he joined Wood Partners in 2000. He has been involved with mid-rise structures, brownfield site redevelopment and structural steel installations. Before he joined Wood Partners, he was operations manager and project superintendent for Marcor Remediation, a national environmental, industrial and site remediation contractor.
Vetter is also LEED-accredited and has successfully built 3,900 units since he started with Wood Partners in 2000. As a member of Wood Partners' Green Team, he helped develop plans for company-wide green building standards.
