NEW YORK CITY—Ulta Beauty has signed a lease deal for an 11,400-square-foot store at the Mall at Bay Plaza in the Bronx.

The deal was announced by Sabre Real Estate of Garden City, NY, which represented Bolingbrook, IL-based Ulta in the transaction. The Ulta Beauty store is expected to open in the third quarter of this year when the 780,000-square-foot fashion mall at the intersection of the Hutchinson River Parkway and I-95 adjacent to Co-Op City, which is now under construction, is expected to be completed. The new Ulta store will be its first location in the Bronx.

“Ulta Beauty's one-stop shop approach for beauty products and their focus on the shopping experience will be a tremendous addition to The Mall at Bay Plaza with its roster of major national tenants, including Macy's, Victoria's Secret, Michael Kors, H&M and American Eagle,” says Jayson Siano, managing principal of Sabre, who represented Ulta along with Doug Bomzer, a Sabre associate director, and the late Beth Lamport. Jerry Welkis of Welco Realty represented the landlord in the transaction.
