WASHINGTON, DC—The General ServicesAdministration has identified 19 projects across thecountry in which it will work with federal agencies to consolidatetheir offices into federally owned space.

GSA says the initiative will save federal agencies $17million in annual rent payments and reduce the federalfootprint by 507,000 square feet. It will also reduce thegovernment's leasing costs by more than $38 million.
