BRANDON, FL—The Florida Medical Clinic has acquired the former Borders bookstore at 2020 Town Center here, according to CBRE, which arranged the sale.
The 22,585-square-foot retail building traded for $2.05 million and is likely going to be converted for medical use.
CBRE represented Business Property Lending, the seller, in the transaction. Gregory L. Morgan of Morgan Realty Advisors represented Florida Medical Clinic.
“Florida Medical Clinic was attracted to this building's central location near the Westfield Brandon mall,” says CBRE Senior Vice President Mark Shellabarger, who leads the Private Capital Group's retail team for the Tampa office. “It is located just off the Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown Expressway with easy access to other major thoroughfares. It is an ideal spot for Florida Medical Clinic to expand their services in the Brandon market.”
Florida Medical Clinic operates more than 30 locations in Hillsborough and Pasco counties.
