SYLMAR, CA—Tutor Perini Corporation, a leadingcivil and building construction company, says that its subsidiary,Perini Management Services, Inc. (PMSI), hasrecently received three task orders for federal projects.

Repair Damage to Multiple Park Buildings at EllisIsland, New York. PMSI received a $34.9 million task orderunder a National Park Service contract for repairsto several buildings on Ellis Island in New YorkHarbor. Ellis Island served as the main point of entry forimmigrants arriving on the East Coast during the years between 1892and 1954 and is now part of the Statue of Liberty & EllisIsland Monument. PMSI will be replacing the mechanical andelectrical systems that were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy, as wellas providing temporary cooling and heating to enhance parkvisitors' comfort while the restoration work is underway. PMSI'steam for this project includes F&G Mechanical of Secaucus, NewJersey; Turnpike Electric of Pine Brook, New Jersey; and C&SBuilding Services of Farmingdale, New York.

Containerized Housing/Office Units. PMSIreceived a $13 million design-build task order from the U.S.Department of State under a competitive award program to purchaseand install Hardened Alternative Trailer Systemunits at the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon.There is potential for award of several options under this contractfor an additional $9 million as funds become available. PMSI's teamfor this project includes Tetra Tech of Framingham, Massachusettsas lead design firm; Charleston Marine Containers, Inc. ofCharleston, South Carolina; and Matta et Associés of Lebanon.
