DALLAS—Woodbine DevelopmentCorporation has made several changes to itsmanagement team, including the retirement of veteran GregMowatt as chief financial officer and promotion ofJim Cihak to that position. Additionally, Woodbinehas hired John Davis to serve as vice president ofasset management, a role previously held by Cihak.

Mowatt had been with Woodbine for 38 years andwas involved with virtually every hotel project in the company'sportfolio, as well as financial engineering for Woodbine and itsother real estate projects. Jim Cihak has served as senior vicepresident of asset management for Woodbine for the past 30years.

Based in the company's Dallas, Texas, headquarters, Davis isresponsible for managing Woodbine's portfolio of hotel andmixed-use properties, along with providing asset managementservices to third-party ownership groups. His duties includerepresenting owners in dealing with hotel operators, maximizingoperational performance and recommending capital investments. Davisalso ensures compliance with management agreements, approvesproperty budgets and works directly with individual property andcorporate operating teams.

Davis joins Woodbine from a private equity firmspecializing in hotel ownership. Prior to that, he served as adirector of finance and accounting for MarriottInternational at several hotels and resorts throughout theMidwest, Southeast and Northeast.

Davis holds a Master of Business Administration degree fromDuke University's Fuqua School of Business and aBachelor of Science degree in Accounting from PurdueUniversity.
