DALLAS—U.S. Capital Advisors LLC has signed a new lease of 9,656 square feet at The Crescent in Uptown. Tony Click, vice president of leasing for Crescent Real Estate Equities LLC, represented the owner while Matt Heidelbaugh of Cushman & Wakefield represented U.S. Capital Advisors.

“U.S. Capital Advisors is a fast-growing firm that was looking to expand into North Texas, and they recognized quickly that The Crescent, which is already the home to 82 financial firms, was where they wanted to be,” said Click. “We're always excited when a Houston firm comes to Dallas, and we look forward to their growth and success at The Crescent.”

Based in Houston, U.S. Capital Advisors (USCA) is an integrated financial services boutique with primary business lines in wealth management and capital markets. The firm's wealth management division provides a full range of advisory services and solutions to high net worth individuals and family offices. Its capital markets division, which includes the firm's, equity research, institutional client, investment & merchant banking, and public finance businesses, advises corporate, institutional and municipal clients. USCA was founded in 2010 and is privately owned.

U.S. Capital Advisors, which will office on the 11th floor in the 300 Crescent building, expects to make the move in June.

“The Crescent  is considered one of the prime financial centers in the Southwest, so it was at the top of the list when U.S. Capital Advisors decided to expand into Dallas,” said Steve Head, senior managing director and Dallas market head for U.S. Capital Advisors. “The proximity to downtown Dallas, the easy access to transportation, the beauty and luxury of the building all played into our decision to call The Crescent our new Dallas home.”

Click added that Head knew of The Crescent's reputation from working in Dallas in the financial services sector over the past 30 years.

“We're really proud that Steve Head, who is widely respected for his business acumen and his devotion to community service, and U.S. Capital Advisors chose to put roots down here at The Crescent,” added Click.

With its majestic facade of Indiana limestone, mansard roof of cut slate and whimsical filigree trim, The Crescent is not quite like anything else in Dallas. Its charm extends well beyond its distinctive architectural features. The Crescent is considered Dallas' premier multi-purpose business complex.

"This was an easy decision. As U.S. Capital Advisors expands in Texas, we focus on high-quality facilities that will give our advisors, employees, and clients a good experience,” said Patrick Mendenhall, managing partner and CEO of U.S. Capital Advisors. “We are excited about expanding our presence in the Dallas market. Wealth management advisors in Dallas are sophisticated and will appreciate the platform we have built."
