WASHINGTON, DC—KLNB Retail has been named the exclusive leasing broker for Washington Real Estate Investment Trust's nearly 2.5 million square foot retail portfolio. There are 16 separate properties in the portfolio in the area.
KLNB Retail principals Michael Patz, Dallon Cheney and Bob Morris will execute the leasing strategy for WRIT, managing the portfolio from KLNB Retail's offices in Baltimore, MD and Dulles, VA.
"Our team is very familiar with the portfolio and we intend to introduce creative leasing strategies designed to strengthen and diversify the tenant mix that best maximizes each asset," Patz says in a prepared statement.
The properties range in size from the 332,000 square foot regional mall, Centre at Hagerstown, to the 44,000 square foot urban center at 800 South Washington St., located in Alexandria, VA.
Eight of the sixteen properties exceed 150,000 square feet of space including Frederick Crossing Shopping Center, Frederick County Square and Olney Village Center.
