TAMPA, FL—Walmart just snapped up a mostly-vacantshopping center in Tampa for $2.95 million inTampa. The retail space sits on 3.7 acres.

The center, Greenhouse Shoppes, is on the northeast corner ofDale Mabry Highway and Hillsborough Avenue. Sterling RetailServices manages the property on behalf of the owner,Abaco-Greenhouse, and represented the seller inthe transaction.

“With the addition of Walmart Neighborhood Market as an anchor,we firmly believe the center will once again become a thrivingproperty,” says Brian Kosoy, CEO ofSterling Organization. “We expect that this strongnew anchor and the great location will attract more desirabletenants to Greenhouse Shoppes as we complete the property'sredevelopment on behalf of the owner.”
