TAMPA, FL—Tampa's East Corridor office market doesn't see many big deals, but this one is noteworthy. CBRE just inked a significant lease at a freestanding class A office building at 422 South Kings Avenue in Brandon, FL.

WellDyne, a provider of health care management solutions, will expand into the 18,592-square-foot property owned by RBRR. Cyprexx Services formerly occupied the office space.

“In one of the few larger new deals in Tampa's East Corridor market, this building afforded Welldyne immediate occupancy and a unique office set-up and design that worked perfectly for the healthcare company's immediate needs and future growth,” says Clay Wommack, a vice president with CBRE. The office property's 1.95 acres also includes expansive private parking with 120 spaces.

As part of the move, Welldyne plans to transfer some employees from Tampa and Lakeland to the new Brandon facility. The company also plans to hire 100 to 150 new employees.

Built in 2005, the office property location offers a strong potential employee base from which the firm will recruit. The location also offers access to Interstate 75 and the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway, as well as proximity to Brandon Town Center Mall.

The two-story building was leased completely furnished with workstations, multiple break rooms, conference rooms, and high-tech cable and televised conferencing capabilities.
