WASHINGTON, DC—Retail properties rarely go on the market inGeorgetown; that is not to say that when they dothey will automatically sell quickly. Still, though, thesubmarket's tempo seems to be picking up lately.

Blake Dickson Real Estate is marketing a retailstorefront located at 1740 Wisconsin Ave. for$1.275 million. The 1,800-square foot,two-story building is nestled among Safeway, Bistro Lepic,Starbucks, and several boutiques. The building also comes with 2parking spaces in the rear.

Earlier this year 3150 M St. traded to War Horse LLC for roughly $12.2million, or $1,835 per square foot. The 6,662-squarefoot property, which is fully occupied by Serendipity 3, was firstlisted along with another property in 2009.
