WHITE PLAINS, NY—Members of Westchester County's commercial realestate industry came together this month to honor MontefioreMedical Center and Simone Development Companies at the 23nd annualHall of Honor Awards Dinner. The two honorees were recognized fortheir contributions to Westchester's economy. The event was held atAbigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown.

Montefiore is an academic medical center nationally renowned forits clinical excellence, scientific discovery and commitment to itscommunity. It includes four hospitals, 1,491 beds across130locations. In Westchester, Montefiore recently acquired Sound ShoreMedical Center in New Rochelle. Montefiore also recently announcedan affiliation with White Plains Hospital. Last year, Montefiorepurchased a 300,000-square-foot office facility from Kraft Foods inTarrytown for administrative and back office operations.
