MIAMI—Officials representing the tallest and largest office tower in the city—Southeast Financial Center—have announced that Ortanique's famed Executive Chef and Owner Cindy Hutson will open her newest concept at the property's plaza called “Zest.”

The new restaurant will join locally-themed eateries Spris and The Cheese Course within its 30,000-square-foot plaza. Zest will introduce Asian, South American and Caribbean influences into gourmet lunch and dinner fare in a 3,500 square foot restaurant featuring a centralized, open concept kitchen, and al fresco dining for 75 guests. Zest will house a private dining room secluded behind glass-walled wine cellar, catering to groups of up to 30 guests.

“Zest will introduce a new high-end level of dining at Southeast Financial Center,” says Greg Masin, senior director, Cushman & Wakefield, who represented Southeast Financial Center in the lease transaction. “The restaurant will enhance the vision of the plaza, which includes an independent bookstore, several home-grown fast-casual dining options, and now this exciting culinary destination under the direction of Cindy, one of Miami's most acclaimed chefs.”

“South Florida has been our restaurant home for 20 years now. With Ortanique locations in Coral Gables, Grand Cayman and Harbour Island, the opportunity to be a part of the exciting growth of the epicenter of Downtown Miami is a perfect addition to our portfolio of culinary offerings,” Hutson says. “We are excited to introduce our newest concept into Southeast Financial Center's robust business and surrounding community base.”

In addition, Zest Mkt, will feature a “grab-and-go” component offering a variety of breakfast and lunch options including fresh blended juices / smoothies, sandwiches, coffees and more.
