LOS ANGELES—Anita Makwana has been named thedirector of interior architecture anddesign for Ware Malcomb, aleading architecture and design firm. She will lead businessdevelopment and growth for the firm's interior design practice inthe Los Angeles area. She will be based in the firm's West LosAngeles office.

“My chief responsibilities will be to develop and grow ourinteriors practice, while providing excellent client service anddesign in the LA interiors market,” Makwana tells GlobeSt.com. “Myexperience in Orange County has proven to be successful and Iintend to bring those skills to the Los Angeles market.”

Makwana has worked with Ware Malcomb since 2005, when she firstjoined the firm as project manager, and then three years later, shewas promoted to director, where she worked to develop the interiorstudio program. At the time, her accounts included Thales,Pacific Life, Experian andBrookfield.
