BOSTON—Real estate veteran Doug Adamian has joined global property services firm DTZ's Boston office as a senior vice president in its brokerage operations.

Adamian, who has 20 years experience in commercial real estate, joined DTZ after serving as senior managing director with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. He has also held senior-level advisory roles with GVA Thompson Hennessey and Partners, and Grubb & Ellis. Both firms merged with Newmark Knight Frank.

During his career, Adamian has transacted more than 500 real estate transactions that included deals with Firestone Financial, SAI Global, Viewpoint Creative, Polaroid, Bessemer, Walgreens, PointRight, Santander and National Center on Time and Learning.

The Boston office of DTZ is led by executive vice presidents John Hennessey and Cathy Thompson. The office has significantly grown in the past year and expanded its client base of middle-market and Fortune 500 firms in New England and across the country. In addition to its growing brokerage operations, the firm is the largest provider of facility management services in Boston and New England.

“DTZ's brokerage platform has built up significant momentum here in New England, evidenced by the number of respected CRE professionals like Doug who have elected to join our office during this exciting period of growth, transformation and expansion,” says Hennessey. “Cathy and I have worked with Doug previously, and he will bring to DTZ a depth of knowledge and understanding of the market drivers within our region and will provide exceptional client service.”
