SAN DIEGO—Lowe Enterprises and AECOMCapital have formed a joint venture with long-timeproperty owner Atlas Hotels, Inc. to own, operateand reposition the Town and Country Resort & ConventionCenter in the Mission Valley area of SanDiego. Lowe's hospitality management subsidiary,Destination Hotels & Resorts, has assumedmanagement of the 954-room resort located at 500Hotel Circle North.
“Town and Country is centrally located to San Diego's topattractions and just minutes from downtown with its array ofrestaurants and entertainment. It presents an exceptionalopportunity to work together with Atlas Hotels to refresh andreposition the property to take full advantage of San Diego'scontinually growing tourism and meeting business,” saidRobert Lowe, Jr., co-president of LoweEnterprises.
Located in the popular Mission Valley area, the hotel's twotowers and three swimming pools, award-winning rosegardens, numerous fountains and outdoor seating areas arespread across the 40-acre property.
