PHOENIX—Camden Property Trust's San Marcos community, a 320 unit multihousing community in Scottsdale, has been named Renovated Community of the Year by the Arizona Multihousing Association.
In 2013, Camden San Marcos completed their capital projects including: a 24-hour fitness room with towel service, a 24-hour pool with towel service during business hours, electronic package notification, car wash area with industrial vacuum and an internet café with wi-fi. Their one-, two- and three-bedroom units also now include granite counter tops, simulated wood flooring, stainless kitchen appliances with ice makers, track lighting, crown molding and two-toned paint, brushed nickel fixtures and more.
San Marcos' innovation, property age, interior and exterior updates, construction size and scope, landscaping, maintenance and impact on the community were all taken in to consideration by the AMA's when judging for the renovation category.
