WASHINGTON, DC—Louis at 14th/U, a luxury residential and retail mixed-use property has traded hands to TIAA-CREF for an undisclosed price. The seller is JBG Cos. and its partner in the project, Georgetown Strategic Capital.
The nine-story building houses a Trader Joe's grocery store along with 268 luxury apartment units and 152 below-grade parking spots. The building was designed by Eric Colbert & Assoc. with interior designer Cecconi Simone.
Louis also offers an extensive rooftop space, with a terrace equipped with grilling stations, fire pits, lounge-style seating, and a pool. There is a residents' lounge with kitchen and bar area, a fitness center with a yoga room, a business center and a full-service concierge.
ARA Mid-Atlantic arranged the sale between JBG and TIAA-CREF.
