SANFORD, FL—The Boulevard Plaza shopping centerhere has been sold by The Sandefur Companies toBranch Properties for $12.2 million.

CBRE, which arranged the sale of the107,117-square-foot retail property, announced the deal. Theshopping center is located on the northwest corner of Highway 17-92and Lake Mary Boulevard. CBRE Investment Properties' CliffTaylor, senior vice president in the firm's Jacksonvilleoffice, and Daniel Baker, first vice president atCBRE's Orlando location worked on the deal.

Albertson's was the plaza's primary anchor tenant at itsinception, ceased operating in early 2010, but continues to pay itsrent obligations. Despite that, the center has performed very welland the small shop space has been exceptionally stable, accordingto CBRE.
