BOISE, ID—Carter, and Pinecrest Partners have completed site selection for a 236-unit multifamily develoment near Boise State University here.
The development, to be branded in the coming months, will be located less than half a mile from the university, with sites at 1600 South Lusk Place and 1105 South La Pointe Street.
“We are excited to offer this development in Boise, which we believe will set a new standard of quality for housing in the local market,” said David Nelson, senior vice president of Carter's development team. “This community will provide students and young professionals the high-quality amenities they demand, in a location that offers easy access to the university's main campus and the growing downtown area.”
The 126-unit site on South Lusk Place will feature studio, two- and four-bedroom apartments. The additional 110-unit site, located a quarter-mile away on South La Pointe Street, will be a mix of studio, one- two- and three-bedroom units. The project is set to begin leasing in September 2014, with completion scheduled for July 2015 – ahead of the 2015-16 academic term.
Residents will enjoy class A finishes throughout, private bathrooms in each bedroom, a private clubroom and fitness center, game room, bicycle parking, tanning beds and other amenities. To accommodate residents at both locations, the buildings will have ground-level parking on the first floor with three stories of housing located above the podium deck. Additionally, the adjacent, 153-acre Ann Morrison Park will provide recreational space for residents, with gardens, athletic fields, picnic pavilions, access to the Boise River and much more.
The project is the latest in a list of high-quality, multi-family offerings Carter is leading across the country, including developments in Georgia, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio and Texas, among others.
Carter is one of the nation's leading real estate investment, development and advisory firms, and Pinecrest Partners, is a real estate private equity investment firm.
