KINGSVILLE, TX–Domus Development has startedwork on a new luxury, off-campus student housing community forTexas A&M Kingsville. Legends Kingsville willopen in August 2015, housing 504 beds. The project is estimated tocost $22 million

“Kingsville has such a rich significance in Texas history withthe King Ranch and Naval Air Station Kingsville,” says EricJakimier, owner of Domus Development. “We look forward tocontinuing the tradition of blending modernity and history bygiving residents a new, contemporary living environment thatreflects the natural beauty of Kingsville. This community willtruly be one-of-a-kind for the area.”

Spaces will include one-, two- and four-bedroom options. Eachapartment will come fully furnished with appliances, granitecountertops, hardwood-style clothing, ceiling fans and a full sizedwasher/dryer.

Amenities for the students will include a resort-style pool,sand volleyball court, multiple grills, a fitness club, clubhousewith game room, high-speed wifi and a computer lounge.

Residents will be able to sign leases for their beds rather thanthe full apartment, so they are not responsible for the entirespace.

Domus has a second phase proposed for Legends Kingsville, butdetails of the potential second phase have not been madepublic.

Asset Campus Housing has been tapped to managethe community. This is the fourth project that Dallas-based Domusand ACH have coordinated on. Recently, ACH was able to fully leaseMustang Ranch, a student housing communitydeveloped by Domus in Stephensville, TX.
