JESSUP, MD—Liberty Property Trust has signed its first lease at 8242 Sandy Ct., one of the three buildings it owns, manages and leases at the Baltimore Washington Industrial Park. The tenant is RMP Powertrain Solutions and it plans move in this summer. The REIT recently made a number of enhancements to the building, according to Lisa Goodwin, VP at Liberty Property Trust, including ESFR sprinkler systems and energy efficient lighting.

The other buildings the REIT owns and manages in the park are located at 8241 and 8246 Sandy Ct. Other improvements the REIT has made include interior and exterior concrete repairs and replacements and landscaping upgrades. There is approximately 190,000 square feet available at Sandy Ct. with an additional 75,000 square feet becoming available in December 2014.

Liberty owns 25 buildings offering 3.9 million square feet of industrial space in the region, with concentrations of property in the I-95, Rt. 1 and Rt. 32.
