TORRANCE, CA—Voit Real Estate Services has moved its Commerce office to Torrance, CA. According to the firm's managing director Ian Britton, the move will help the firm's brokers “better serve the demand” in the dynamic Los Angeles market place.

Voit's Commerce office has been serving the Los Angeles market for the past four years. Led by SVPs Davis Fults and Brian McLaughlin, the office currently has a team of four brokers—Derek DeVre, CJ Collins, Patrick Haddan and Arlene Blanco—but is expecting to expand at the new Torrance location.

“Driven by client demand, our strategic relocation within the Los Angeles market will continue to strengthen our market share,” Britton explains. The firm has 11 total offices throughout the Western United States, but Britton says that the L.A. expansion is only part of Voit's growth strategy. The firm will be positioning themselves in key growth markets in the Western region while expanding brokerage teams and recruiting fresh talent that can serve the firm's customer base.

With the market nearing full recovery, according to experts, several firms are looking to expand into gateway cities as well as emerging markets. Industry Partners, for example, recently opened a third Los Angeles office in the San Fernando Valley. The firm focuses on creative office spaces, and moved to the Valley to meet the growing demand for creative space in that market.
