DAVIS, CA—Cushman & Wakefield's Global Hospitality Group has represented Presidio Companies in the leasehold sale of the newly-expanded Hyatt Place UC Davis Hotel.

The hotel is located at 173 Old Davis Road. The recently constructed 127-room property is the only hotel located directly on the campus of the university, providing tremendous barriers to entry and is situated directly adjacent to the new state-of-the-art UC Davis Conference Center, a strong source of group demand for the property, as well as the new Graduate School of Management, the Mondavi Center, The Robert Mondavi Institute for Food & Wine Science and the future Manetti Shrem Museum of Art.

The original 75 rooms of the property were built in 2010, while the remaining 52-room expansion was completed in the spring of 2014. The hotel also features approximately 2,500 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center and café as well as an outdoor pool and spa.

Presidio Companies is a privately owned real estate investment and development firm based in Northern California.  Since 2000, Presidio Companies has completed over $525 million of hotel and commercial real estate transactions in markets throughout the United States, including Hawaii.

Cushman & Wakefield's James Escarzega and Steve Michels represented Presidio in the transaction.
