ASHBURN, VA—Less than a month after it announced that the DC area's first Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant was joining its roster of tenants, Regency Centers reveals that Whole Foods will anchor Belmont Chase.

The 80,000-square foot center is expected to open its doors in the summer of 2015. Other tenants will include Cava Mezze Grill, Peet's Coffee and Tea, and PR Fresh Look Salon.

Whole Foods, though, is almost a guaranteed door buster, given that it has no other presence in Loudoun County. The retailer is taking 40,000-square feet at Belmont Chase. Also its theme of selling sustainable produce and agriculture complement's Cooper's Hawk Winery and Restaurant, another first for the area. It will offer an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private barrel-aging room, Napa-style tasting room and retail gift store.

“Northern Virginia, especially Loudoun County, has experienced tremendous growth," Devin Corini, Vice President Investments at Regency says in a prepared statement, adding that the 18-acre Belmont Chase will raise the bar for retail in the area.

Belmont Chase is located in Belmont Executive Center, at the gateway of the Toll Brothers' 2,137-home golf course community, Belmont Estates. Belmont Executive Center includes 1.2 million-square feet of future office space and hotel uses.
