AURORA, CO—CBRE recently brokered an$8.3 sale-lease-back with Barton Supply,Inc., a privately owned portfolio company ofKodiak Building Partners, following the sale ofthe property. The 124,800 square foot building sits on16.75 acres in Upland Park, Aurora, Colorado. Thebuyer was Gladstone Commercial Corporation, a realestate investment trust (REIT) based out of Washington, D.C.

Located at 14800 East Moncrieff Place, theproperty serves as the headquarters for Barton Supply, the marketleader in rebar fabrication, structural and miscellaneous steel andconcrete construction accessories for both commercial andresidential buildings. The well-equippedmanufacturing-distribution-warehouse facility is in the heart ofthe Airport/Montbello submarket, with proximity to downtown Denver,Denver International Airport, Stapleton BusinessCenter, and the expressway system and rail service.

Tyler Carner, first vice president with CBRE'sDenver Industrial Group noted, “the seller of the asset was able tocapitalize on the current market conditions of capital chasing longterm stable yield backed by functional and quality industrial realestate. There were multiple offers on the real estate and Gladstonewas selected as the buyer.”
