SEATTLE—Colliers International and its parent company, FirstService Corp., have announced that Dylan Taylor, formerly CEO | Americas, has been named as COO | global. Taylor will continue to report directly to Douglas Frye, president and CEO, Global.
Taylor joined Colliers in June of 2009 as CEO, USA and under his leadership revenues and profits increased significantly. In 2012, he was named CEO I Americas where he integrated operations, leveraged best practices and increased collaboration while achieving efficiencies and scalability across the region. Throughout his tenure, Taylor diligently grew operations internally and through acquisition, strengthening Colliers' Global corporate services and capital markets businesses and expanded its asset and property management, valuation and real estate advisory practices across the entire global platform. 
"Dylan will not only be able to support the Americas in his new role, he will also facilitate growth and innovation throughout our global operations including the EMEA, Asia Pacific and Australia/New Zealand. There is no doubt that his leadership, vision and dedication to operational excellence has brought enormous value to our company," said Frye. Recently, Taylor was selected by the Aspen Institute as a member of its 2014 Class of Henry Crown Fellows, mobilizing leaders, all under the age of 45, to tackle the world's most intractable problems. Taylor was also selected as a Delphi Fellow for Big Think, a digital knowledge forum that brings together top thinkers from around the world to contribute important ideas from their respective fields. He is the only real estate industry professional to receive both designations. In recognition of his professional accomplishments, commitment to society and his potential to impact the world through inspiring leadership, the World Economic Forum named him to its top 45 list of Young Global Leaders. Taylor holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Chicago, and was an honors graduate in engineering at the University of Arizona.
