NEWPORT BEACH, CA—Interstate Hotels &Resorts has completed the acquisition of the managementagreements of Rim Hospitality, a leading hotelmanagement company in North America. Interstate will create aRim Hospitality Division with a dedicated teambased out of Rim's Newport Beach headquarters tomanage the acquired portfolio.

Strengthening Interstate's West Coast presence,the transaction increases the depth of independent boutique andbranded hotels in its robust collection, including hotels fromrenowned brands such as Marriott, Hilton andStarwood. The acquisition adds nearly 70high quality hotels with more than 10,600 rooms.
