AVENTURA, FL—The luxury housing project Privéhas secured a key approval—a permit to install a second sidewalk onthe South Island at Island Estates—that its developer says willhelp facilitate the project's groundbreaking this August.

The luxury 160-unit development is being co-developed byBH3 and developer Gary Cohen.“While seemingly a minor issue, the residents of the South Islandmade grand efforts to seek to stall the Privé project as a resultof this requirement,” says Cohen. “We are satisfied that the Cityof Aventura carefully vetted and approved our application, thusenabling us to fulfill our intent to comply with this requirementand provide us with the necessary approvals to proceed."

Designedby Sieger Suarez, Privé's twin 16-story towers will rise abovethe exclusive, eight-acre north island located between WilliamsIsland and Sunny Isles Beach. The residences wil range in size from2,585 square feet to more than 9,000 square feet in selectpenthouse units.
