NEW YORK CITY—RFR has announced a new lease at 90 Fifth Ave., an office building that the company recently reintroduced to the market following a repositioning campaign. Technology-driven real estate brokerage Urban Compass has signed a lease for 25,000 square feet of new office space at the property, an 11-story building on the northwest corner of Fifth Avenue and 14th Street.  The new space is just a block away from Urban Compass' current Union Square headquarters, where the firm has occupied 9,000 square feet since March of this year.

AJ Camhi and Oliver Katcher of RFR represented the landlord in the transaction. Ethan Silverstein and Mark Mandell of Cushman & Wakefield represented Urban Compass.

 

Cushman & Wakefield has represented F+W—a content and ecommerce company—in a new lease at 1140 Broadway, located at the northeast corner of 26th street in Midtown South. F+W, which will relocate from 38 East 29th Street, will occupy 8,500 square feet on the entire 14th floor in the 17-story office building. Cushman & Wakefield's Alan Wildes, Executive Director, represented the tenant in the long-term transaction. Michael Joseph and Andrew Roos of Colliers International represented the landlord, 1140 LLC, in the transaction.

 

 

SQN has agreed to occupy approximately 7,293 square feet on a portion of the 28th floor at 100 Wall St. for a 10-year term.  SQN is an independent asset manager. Mitchell Konsker, Scott Cahaly and Kyle Young of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the Landlord, Savanna, while Rob Wizenberg of CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant in this transaction.

 

United Ambulette, a medical transport service, has leased 6,000 square feet at 144 Pilling St. in Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood, in a relocation from 3131 Greenpoint Ave. in Long Island City.

Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates brokers Jeffrey Unger and Robert Klein represented the tenant, United Ambulette, and the owner, Corastar Holding Inc. in the deal. United Ambulette's operations will occupy 6,000 square feet of the space—a former iron works site—and also allow access to the building's 20,000-square-foot parking lot.
