RUTHERFORD, NJ—ColliersInternational has arranged a long-term, 18,768 SFlease for Clermont Specialty Managers, a W. R.Berkley company, at the Meadows Office Complex at 301 Route 17North here.
The commercial property casualty insurance provider willrelocate from its current New Jersey office in Hackensack.Clermont will occupy the space in late summer,pending build out of the custom-designed space on the 9th floor.The 600,000-square-foot commercial building is owned and managed byOnyx Equities.
"The asset's recent capital improvements, including the additionof a new cafeteria, conference rooms, and fitness center, amongothers, were a major draw for our client," says HowardKaplowitz, a senior managing director with ColliersInternational, who along with executive managing director JohnCunningham represented the tenant in the transaction. “The Class-Aunit will also accommodate Clermont Specialty Managers' space needsas the company continues to expand.”
