ZHOUSHAN, China—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has completed the opening of The Westin Zhujiajian Resort, Zhoushan, marking the Westin brand's debut in the city of Zhoushan in the Zhejiang province of China.

The spectacular beachfront resort features 263 guest rooms and villas, innovative dining options and leisure facilities, and all the Westin brand's signature amenities and services designed to inspire well-being.

Set between green forests and the East China Sea, The Westin Zhujiajian Resort, is just steps away from sandy beaches and unique cultural and natural scenic attraction in Zhujiajian, the fifth largest island among the 1,390 islands in Zhoushan. The Zhoushan Putuoshan airport as well as several leading attractions such as Putuoshan and the Shenjiamen Fishing Port are within a short drive from the resort.

All 263 inviting guest rooms, including 12 villas, provide a luxurious place to retreat from the bustle of the city and are outfitted with the world-renowned Westin Heavenly Bed – featuring lush sheets, down cushioning and a patented pillow-top mattress, which cradles and contours to the body for complete comfort. The resort's all-day restaurant, Seasonal Tastes features a nourishing and imaginative menu, while the Chinese restaurant, Five Sen5es provides the perfect settingfor celebrations with loved ones and business associates, as well as CHOKO which is a separate, peaceful dining area for guests to enjoy delicious vegetarian cuisine.  At The Lobby Lounge, guests can indulge in a cocktail, a freshly brewed coffee or a cup of Westin Jing Tea in front of beautiful sea views. In-room dining is also available 24 hours a day.

Resort facilities provide both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, including an extraordinary wave pool, as well as a WestinWORKOUT fitness studio, complete with free weights and cardio equipment.
