MIAMI—First Armani, now Fendi. The luxury handbag and fur maker has partnered with private developer Château Group to develop a 12-story waterfront condo in Miami. The project, which marks Fendi's first branded real estate project, will sit two blocks south of Bal Harbour Shops.
Located at 9365 Collins Avenue, Fendi Château Residences will offer 58 oceanfront residences and penthouses ranging in size from 3,300 square feet to over 7,000 square feet. Prices start at $5 million and rise to $22 million. The condos are set to hit the market in June 2016.
Every unit comes equipped with what the developer is calling a “complete chef's kitchen” with custom Fendi Case cabinets and Gaggenau appliances. Residences will also offer bathrooms with Italian marble with custom-designed fixtures, along with staff quarters and laundry areas, which include full bathrooms.
“Characterized by an innovative undulated architecture that echoes the waves, Fendi Château Residences feature expansive waterfront apartments with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean,” says Manuel Grosskopf, president of Château. “Its residences and deluxe amenities combine function along with Fendi-style on a grand scale for the very first time.”
Amenities include private restaurant, lounge with gourmet kitchen, library, business center, ballroom, kid's club, private cinema, state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking the ocean, bicycle storage, multiple beachfront pools with cabanas, reflective ponds, spas and Jacuzzis, and a relaxation terrace with aromatherapy. Residents also have access to five-star, white-glove services, including a 24-hour multi-lingual concierge staff, beachfront and poolside service and a doorman and valet.
“Fendi Château Residences further consolidate our ties in the luxury private property sector, in particular with a qualitative partner like Château Group,” says Pietro Beccari, chairman and CEO of Fendi. “It fully expresses the codes, history and savoir-faire that characterize Fendi, a perfect example of cutting-edge design, experimentation and timeless expertise.”
Meanwhile, Residences by Armani/Casa is bringing together Armani, Related Group and Dezer Development, as well as famed Argentinean-born architect César Pelli, creator of the Petronas Towers in Malaysia and Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, to bring a 60-story oceanfront tower to Sunny Isles Beach, FL.
Armani/Casa was born from my desire to see my design aesthetic at work in interior spaces,” says Giorgio Armani, president and CEO of the Armani Group. “On a project like this, where we have the benefit of partnering with a talented architect like César Pelli, we get the opportunity to create something really very special—a remarkable living space, imbued with the spirit of modern elegance.”
