SEATTLE—Colliers International said today that Dwight Hotchkiss has been named national director, industrial | USA. Hotchkiss' team will continue to oversee the national practice groups—service groups with specialized expertise in particular industries or property sectors such as healthcare, multifamily, distressed assets, law firms and government.

"Dwight's expanded leadership role is part of our continued strategy to deepen and grow our industrial business for brokerage, sales and property management."
In his expanded leadership role, Hotchkiss will spend a majority of his time focused on client strategy and business development with institutional clients for investment sales, management and leasing. He will also work closely with the market leaders on recruiting and with Scott Nelson, president, occupier services, on occupier pursuits.
Hotchkiss brings 25 years of experience in the industry, including 17 years as an industrial broker and eight as an executive leader, to the Colliers industrial platform. Under Hotchkiss' leadership, Colliers' national practice groups rapidly expanded from 12 to 24, with more than 600 brokers participating in the various groups.
Colliers' industrial division--inclusive of brokerage, real estate management services (REMS) and capital markets--represents more than 472 professionals and 300 SIORs. In 2013, Colliers International represented more than 310 million square feet, in 8,380 transactions.
The company's latest announcement builds on Colliers' recent promotion of Anjee Solanki to national director of the retail group and Scott Nelson as president of the newly formed occupier services group, a merging of Colliers' tenant representative brokerage and corporate services groups. Similar moves in other service lines are expected to be announced in coming weeks.
