SEDONA—Snyder Nationwide Real Estate, Inc.announces the sale of Garland's Oak Creek Lodge located in OakCreek Canyon and nestled against the towering sandstone cliffs ofthe Red Rock/Secret Canyon Wilderness eight miles north of Sedonaand 20 miles south of Flagstaff.

Snyder Nationwide Real Estate represented Gary and MaryGarland, whose family bought the Lodge in 1972 and sold itto Verandas Apartments, LLC, an Arizona company,which plans to continue the legacy created by the Garlands tooperate and maintain the lodge in the same manner that has led todecades of success. The new owners were equally impressed with thefarm-to-table experience pioneered by the Garlands from the early1970s at the lodge.

The lodge began as a homestead around 1908 with the main diningroom constructed in 1943 and cabins added throughout the years.Sixteen cozy cabins now dot the approximate 10-acre property, whichis carpeted with lush lawns, overflowing gardens and fruitorchards. As a mainstay for savvy vacationers for over 70years, the lodge represents the sophistication of an earlier agewith no TV or telephones in the rooms—allowing guests to enjoy thetranquil beauty and silence of the rustling Oak Creek, which runsfor a quarter-mile alongside the property.
