NORFOLK, VA—Atlanta-based InTown Suites Extended Stay Living has acquired four hotels throughout Virginia that will double the company's extended-stay brand in the Commonwealth and bring InTown Suites' locations to 139.
The hotels were former Savannah Suites. They are located in Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News and Norfolk. Their acquisition price was not disclosed.
InTown will upgrade its new properties with such amenities as 42” HDTVs and high-speed wifi. “Across the country, we are retooling InTown…", CEO Jonathan Pertchik said in a prepared statement.
The company has been on a steady acquisition track over the last few years, snapping up assets in the Southeast and other regions of the country. It has acquired two assets in Houston, a property in Louisville, KY and properties Georgia, Florida and Alabama.
