Stephani Park: Oden Hughes has growntremendously in the last few years, as has its need for highquality property management that adds value for its investors andprovides first-class service to residents in its growing portfolioof properties.

At the same time, the class A apartment market has gotten verycompetitive in major Texas cities and a lot of high-end propertyowners want more customized service and individual attention fromsenior level managers.

GlobeSt.com: What is your first order of business inthis new role?

Park: My top priority right nowis to hire a strong team of experienced property managers thatshare our commitment to quality and exceptional customerservice.

GlobeSt.com: What is the key to great propertymanagement?

Park: It really comes down to trustand creating a sense of community. Great property managers areprofessional, customer oriented and dedicated to fostering apleasant and welcoming environment in which people want to live.They are also very responsive to the needs of residents andproperty owners and able to act quickly and decisively when issuesarise.

GlobeSt.com: Are you looking at any specific typesof multifamily properties?

|

Park: Oden Hughes Management focusesexclusively on class A communities of the highest quality in majorTexas markets. We're looking for property owners who see the valueof providing exceptional customer service and are looking for asmaller, well-qualified management company that's able to easilyadjust to the unique needs of each property.

GlobeSt.com: What major Texas market are you lookingat with interest today?

|

Park: Oden Hughes Management willfocus on the same markets as the company's development andconstruction divisions: Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and SanAntonio.
