WASHINGTON, DC--The American Psychological Association has tapped Cassidy Turley to provide property management services for its two-building portfolio here.

The two office buildings encompass 609,106 square feet in Washington, DC. They are located at 750 First St. and 10 G St., NE in the Capitol Hill.

Space is traditionally constrained in this tiny but geographically-significant submarket. More space is, however, being created for other associations and other entities that are interested in establishing a foothold near the Capitol.

In June Republic Properties announced it was moving forward with plans to build a 200,000-square foot spec office in Capitol Hill after CBRE's Capital Markets team helped it secure $65 million in construction finance. The building will be located at 660 North Capitol St. and have 24,500-square foot floor plates that will be well-suited for the lobbying firms and associations.
