NEW YORK CITY—Avison Young has hired 11professionals to join its expanding platform in the tri-stateregion, GlobeSt.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY.

“As we continue our expansion in New York City and the tri-stateregion, we remain committed to providing best-in-class services toour growing client base,” says Arthur Mirante,Avison Young principal and tri-state president. “The addition ofthese professionals will increase our capabilities throughout abroad range of platforms, including investment sales, capitalmarkets, retail services, valuation and tenant and landlordrepresentation.”

The new hires include John Farrell andWilliam Picoli, who both join the valuation andadvisory group as SVPs. Both analysts previously were with NewmarkGrubb Knight Frank, where Farrell was managing director and Picoliwas senior managing director. At Avison, Farrell will beresponsible for business development, providing valuation andconsulting services to clients, and mentoring the firm's juniorstaff. Picoli will provide consulting and valuation services,litigation support, market analysis, highest and best use and landdevelopment analysis for a broad spectrum of property types andclients nationwide, with a focus on the New York Metropolitanarea.
