MIAMI—An Israeli businessman is bullish on Flagler Street. Moishe Mana just snapped up another building on the famed street.
Specifically, Mana acquired 124 East Flagler Street, a 9,000-square-foot, three-story building. He paid $2.3 million for the property, which was built in 1930. The building offers 3,000 square feet of ground floor retail fronting East Flagler Street, plus 6,000 square feet of office space on the second and third floors.
Mika Mattingly and Shai Ben-Ami of Sterling Equity Realty Commercial represented Mana's company, East Flagler Realty, in the transaction. Boris Kozolchyk of Pointe Group Advisors represented the seller, 124 E Flagler St.
“Mana has strategically positioned himself in key locations in downtown's urban core,” Mattingly tells GlobeSt.com. “Mana's vision, combined with other developments, will ignite Downtown Miami for the first time in 30 years.”
124 East Flagler Street is located at the heart of Downtown Miami's historic East Flagler Street district. That puts it on the same block as the world famous Dupont Building and Olympia Theatre at the Gusman Cultural Center.
With this purchase, Mana has acquired 115,000 square feet of retail space on Flagler Street and another 50,000 within Miami's Central Business District. In August, Mana acquired 107,000 square feet of retail space on Flagler Street in a deal totaling more than $21 million.
Mana also recently acquired 777 International Mall at 141 East Flagler Street, which was originally constructed in 1947 as the Miami Theater. Other recent acquisitions include the 9,000-square-foot 130 East Flagler Street building and over 25,000 square feet at 134 East Flagler Street.
