TAMPA, FL—Once owned by a Tampa megachurch, the Without WallsInternational campus now has a new owner. RichmanGroup acquired the high-profile property, which is locatedin Tampa's Westshore district, for $14.3 million.

Westshore is Tampa's largest office market, but the 13-plus-acreproperty is prime for multifamily andretail development opportunities. SperryVan Ness' Bill Gross and KennyAnderson found the buyer in the sale that took two yearsto culminate.

"There were a number of planning, rezoning, and permittingphases during this process,” says Anderson. “The key to success wasour team's ability to remain attentive to the transaction andfocused on the needs of each party, while providing guidance anddirection when needed.”

The Westshore property is home to a church sanctuary,administration building, and surrounding land. Sitting on thewestern edge of Tampa, Westshore has emerged as a hot district inthe past few years. With more than 12 million square feet ofcommercial office space, it is the largestcommercial market in the area.
