MIAMI—Prologis Pompano Beach Industrial Park's Center Port Distribution Center is completely full. Economic Electric Motors just signed a new 34,000-square-foot lease at the park at 1280 Northwest 22nd Street and Shred-It USA inked a 34,806-square-foot lease at 1300 NW 22nd Street.

Cushman & Wakefield executive directors, Chris Metzger and Rick Etner, along with senior director Christopher Thomson represented Prologis in the leases. The lease term is 120 months.

"Activity in Northern Broward County has been brisk, awakening from its summer slumber," says Metzger. "Lease up of the remaining Prologis properties in Pompano Beach has resulted in 100% occupancy at the Center Port Distribution Center -- 409,019 square feet in 5 buildings -- and most recently Prologis Pompano Industrial Center I -- 68,806 square feet.”

With the new leases, there is only 54,185 square feet remaining at Prologis Park: “Even that space has two prospects negotiating for the entire space,” he says. “It is time to build.”
