MIAMI—Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. in separateannouncements reports that it will open Nordstrom Rack stores of31,000 square feet and 33,500 square feet, respectively, atThe Shops at Midtown Miami and at BowmanPlace in Mount Pleasant, SC.
The Miami store is scheduled to open in the spring of 2015,while the Mount Pleasant, SC store is projected to open its doorsin the fall of 2015.
When it opens at DDR Corp.'s Shops at Midtown Miami development,it will be the fourth Nordstrom Rack store in the Miami area.Nordstrom operates a total of nine Rack locations and ninefull-line stores in Florida. The company is opening a new Nordstromstore at St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville on Oct. 10 and twonew Nordstrom Rack stores in West Palm Beach on Oct. 8 and in LakeBrandon on Oct. 24, which is also owned by DDR.
