ALEXANDRIA, VA—Global Health College is taking20,624-square feet at Matan Cos.' building located at 6101Stevenson Ave. It is a ten-year lease in which the collegewill occupy the second and third floors of the 75,023-square footoffice building.
Matan Development will manage the build out of the college'sspace, which will serve as the educational and administrativecenter for its nursing education degrees.
Matan has owned the seven-story project since 2000 and isplanning capital improvements and upgrades to the building over thenext two years. Those upgraes will include a new 62-seat conferencecenter, renovated lobby and bathrooms, renovated elevator cabs, newbuilding entrance, and building façade upgrades. Earlier thissummer Matan signed the American Counseling Association to an11-year deal for 21,723-square feet at 6101 Stevenson.
