ALEXANDRIA, VA—Global Health College is taking 20,624-square feet at Matan Cos.' building located at 6101 Stevenson Ave. It is a ten-year lease in which the college will occupy the second and third floors of the 75,023-square foot office building.
Matan Development will manage the build out of the college's space, which will serve as the educational and administrative center for its nursing education degrees.
Matan has owned the seven-story project since 2000 and is planning capital improvements and upgrades to the building over the next two years. Those upgraes will include a new 62-seat conference center, renovated lobby and bathrooms, renovated elevator cabs, new building entrance, and building façade upgrades. Earlier this summer Matan signed the American Counseling Association to an 11-year deal for 21,723-square feet at 6101 Stevenson.
