WATERBURY, CT—HFF reports that the $27.15-million sale of the grocery-anchored Waterbury Plaza shopping center here has closed.
The 141,443-square-foot property was acquired by Toronto-based Slate Properties, Inc. from Kimco Realty Corp., which is headquartered in New Hyde Park, NY. HFF marketed the property on behalf of Kimco.
Waterbury Plaza is located at 410 Reidville Drive, adjacent to Interstate 84, and approximately 16 miles north of New Haven. The fully-leased center is anchored by Stop & Shop and Raymour & Flanigan.
Slate Retail REIT is an open-ended real estate investment trust focused on U.S. grocery-anchored real estate. The REIT's portfolio includes more than 30 properties located primarily in some of the top 50 U.S. metro markets.
