DALLAS–The first grocery-anchored shopping center is coming toProsper.
United Commercial Development, TerraVerde Group and Venture Commercial RealEstate are behind developments that will bring a125,000-square-foot store, to be disclosed at a later date, to the300,000-square-foot center, which will also be the first commercialdevelopment at Windsong Ranch. The new2,030-acre master-planned community opened in June in the suburb,which is 30 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Terra Verde Group, the developer of Windsong Ranch, sold a46-acre land parcel at the northeast corner of US Highway 380 andGee Road to UCD led by Robert Dorazil, whopartnered with The Kroenke Group on the project.Plains Capital Bank provided financing.
